Privacy policy

AXIUEX Pty Ltd (ACN 697 001 942). Last updated: 29 October 2026.

Kentron is a stock and purchasing service run by AXIUEX Pty Ltd ("AXIUEX", "we", "us"). It is currently used only by Elevate Survey Supplies. This policy explains how we handle personal information in Kentron, and when you contact us.

We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1. Who this policy covers

  • People who use Kentron: staff of a business that uses Kentron, invited by that business. Today, that is Elevate Survey Supplies' staff.
  • People whose details are in that business's records, such as its customers and suppliers.
  • People who contact us.

A business's information in Kentron belongs to that business. We hold it on its behalf and follow its instructions. If your details are in Elevate Survey Supplies' records and you have a question about them, you can ask Elevate Survey Supplies, or ask us and we'll work with them to respond.

2. What we collect

Staff sign-in details:

  • your name, work email address and role;
  • a record of your passkey, which lets Kentron recognise it. Your passkey stays on your device: we never receive your fingerprint, face or device unlock code;
  • the one-time sign-in codes we email you;
  • the time of each sign-in, and the type of device and internet address used.

What happens in Kentron: a record of the actions staff take, such as receiving a delivery, with the time and the person's name, and any notes or files staff add, such as shipping documents.

A read-only copy of QuickBooks Online data: products and services, customers and suppliers (including their names and business contact details), sales, purchase orders, bills and stock adjustments.

When you contact us: your name, your contact details and what you tell us.

Kentron doesn't use advertising or website analytics tools. It uses cookies only to keep you signed in and to keep signing in secure.

3. How we use it

We use personal information to:

  • provide Kentron to the business that uses it and to its staff;
  • confirm who you are when you sign in, and keep accounts secure;
  • send service emails, such as sign-in codes, invitations and alerts;
  • answer support requests;
  • keep the history the business relies on to see who did what;
  • meet our legal obligations.

We don't sell personal information. We don't use it for advertising or marketing, or for anything other than providing Kentron, unless the law requires it.

4. Where it is stored

Kentron's information is stored outside Australia:

  • Kentron's records and files: with Railway (Railway Corporation, a United States company), in its Singapore data centre.
  • Backup copies: with Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., a United States company), encrypted before they leave Kentron. We ask Cloudflare to keep them in the Oceania region, but it doesn't guarantee a particular country.
  • Sign-in and alert emails: sent through Resend (a United States company). Resend keeps message logs in the United States for 30 days. They include names, email addresses and the code or link in each email.
  • QuickBooks Online: provided by Intuit, a United States company. Information comes from QuickBooks into Kentron at the business's direction, and the business's Owner approves this in Kentron before QuickBooks is connected.
  • Emails to AXIUEX: emails to our axiuex.com.au addresses are passed on by Cloudflare to our email provider. Either may handle or store them outside Australia.

These providers may be subject to the laws of the countries where they are based.

5. How we protect it

  • Information is encrypted while it travels. Sign-in details, the QuickBooks connection, files and backups are also encrypted when stored.
  • Each business's information is kept separate from every other business's.
  • Staff sign in with a passkey or a one-time code. Owners and Managers must use a passkey.
  • Each business decides who can see what. For example, staff who don't need cost prices don't see them.
  • Kentron keeps a history of important actions that can't be quietly changed.
  • We regularly check that backups can be restored.
  • AXIUEX runs Kentron's systems. We only look at a business's records when it asks us to, for a support request, or where the law requires it.

No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a data breach that is likely to cause serious harm, we'll tell the affected business promptly. We'll also tell affected people and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where the law requires it.

6. QuickBooks

Kentron only reads information from QuickBooks Online. It never changes anything in QuickBooks.

To disconnect Kentron from QuickBooks:

  • in Kentron, the Owner opens Settings, Connections, and chooses Disconnect QuickBooks; or
  • in QuickBooks Online, open Apps, find AXIUEX Kentron and disconnect it.

After that, Kentron stops receiving updates from QuickBooks. The information already in Kentron stays there until the business asks us to remove it.

7. How long we keep it

  • Your account: while you are a user. When a business removes you, your sign-in access ends straight away. Your name stays in the business's history, so past records still show who did what.
  • A business's records: while it uses Kentron. When it stops:
    1. it can take a full copy of its information;
    2. we delete it from Kentron after a 14-day cooling-off period;
    3. backup copies are deleted on their normal schedule: daily copies within 35 days, and monthly copies within 12 months.
  • Support messages: only as long as we need them.

We keep information longer only if the law requires it.

8. Seeing and correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Your organisation's Owner can update most details in Kentron. For anything else, email privacy@axiuex.com.au.

We'll respond within 30 days. If we can't give you access, we'll explain why. If the information is part of a business's records, we'll work with that business to respond.

9. Complaints

If you're concerned about how we've handled your personal information, email privacy@axiuex.com.au. We'll acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days, and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner:

10. Children

Kentron is for businesses. It isn't intended for anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always at kentron.axiuex.com.au/privacy, with the date it was last updated. If a change materially affects how we handle a business's information, we'll tell that business before it takes effect.

We deal with requests by email only.
